By proceeding with a purchase you are in agreement with our terms and conditions as stated below.

Artistic & Creative Freedom

Creative freedom is a requirement. Any inspiration pictures provided will be used as inspiration only, as I craft unique interpretations with my personal style and aesthetic. All custom orders are subject to The Frosted Bite’s design aesthetic.

We will create the requested colors as closely as possible for a design. By proceeding with a custom order purchase, the client understands that colors may vary on computer/phone/tablet screens/resolution settings and may vary slightly from expectations with the actual products.

Invoicing and Payment

Once client has agreed to move forward with the order, a link will be sent to access the invoice. Payment is due within 24 hours of receiving the invoice. All custom orders must be paid in FULL before reserving a spot on the calendar. Failure to pay within 24 hours may result in the spot being filled by someone else.

Pick-up, Order Release & Cookie Care

Orders will be picked up at my residence in Orlando, FL (32829) at the date and time that are agreed upon. If anything changes, please contact me ASAP to see if accommodations can be made.

Once the order is picked up, we no longer assume any responsibility for damage caused to the cookies. Please check your cookies before leaving my driveway. Once cookies have left my care, you assume complete responsibility.

• Cookies are packaged with the utmost care but are still fragile, so please handle them gently.

• Cookies may shift inside the packaging; keep boxes level, support the box when carrying, and place cookies on a flat surface during transport.

• Do not stack boxes on top of each other.

• Keep cookies away from direct sunlight. Do not keep cookies in heat. Do not leave them in hot car.

• Do not place the cookies in the refrigerator.

• Cookies must be kept in an air conditioned room.

Included is a cookie care card for any remaining cookies, along with an ingredients label adhered to the box.

Order Changes

Requests for changes to either designs, quantities, or dates are NOT guaranteed and will be made solely at my discretion, depending on my ability to accommodate the request.

Refunds & Cancellations

Custom cookie orders are non-refundable. Once paid, the order can be transferred to a new date (if available) but cannot be refunded. Notification of transfer must be given at least 21 days prior to the pick-up/delivery date. The store credit cannot be used for holiday pre-sales or flash sales.

If there is an emergency on my end and I am unable to fulfill the order, a full refund will be issued.

Weather & Unforseen Circumstances

In the event of severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances (including but not limited to hurricanes, flooding, extreme storms, or loss of power) that impact our ability to safely and/or timely complete your order, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule. As our products require multiple days of preparation and rely on electricity-dependent equipment, any power outages or unsafe working conditions during the week of your event may affect production. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a full refund or credit toward a future order, based on the circumstances and timing.

Food Allergies

The Frosted Bite is a home based bakery operating under Florida Cottage Food Law that is not subject to Florida’s food safety regulations. The cookies and icing are both made in my home kitchen and therefore not allergen-free. Our kitchen is NOT nut free, egg free, dairy free, or gluten free.

The client is responsible for pointing out potential allergy hazards to their guests. One ingredient label is placed on the packaging/box. If the order is later distributed individually by the client; then, they shall communicate the allergy hazards to their guests. Note: The Frosted Bite cannot accommodate a gluten or nut free product. It is recommended that people with severe/life-threatening allergies of any kind do not consume products from The Frosted Bite.

When the use of metallic details is requested (gold, silver, or rose gold), please note that I now use Dazzle Dust. Ingredients: 100% FDA Compliant Mica-Based Pearlescent Pigments, Diiron Trioxide. This product is vegan, gluten-free, and kosher.

Sugar Cookie Ingredients: Enriched flour (wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), butter (milk, salt), granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla bean paste (invert sugar, water, vanilla extract, vanilla seeds, xanthan gum, acacia gum), salt.

Royal Icing Ingredients: Powdered sugar, water, meringue powder (modified food starch, dried egg whites, sugar, gum arabic, sodium aluminosilicate, citric acid, potassium acid tartrate, vanillin), corn syrup, artificial flavors, cream of tartar, food coloring.

*Our signature cookie/icing recipe contains: Wheat, Eggs, Milk

Photographs

We do not provide “progress photos” of custom orders to clients.

The Frosted Bite reserves the right to post photographs of the baked goods they create and photograph/video record themselves.
